I didn't use quicksaves or quickloading. But I do have this same Patriarch problem. Although I could try what Benny101 has suggested I would lose a lot of my game. Once I discovered the problem I left the Patriarch from a save before I spoke to him (but I was already in the cave)and went on to do other things while faithfully awaiting a resolution.
As well, I hadn't given the statues their seeds all at the same time. I delivered one, then played at other things before gathering and delivering the other two, so I would lose a lot if I had to go all the way back to before delivering the first seed.
A debug from Larian would be ideal. I haven't played in weeks now. I'd hate to give it up totally.
