What I would do is give more statpoints to Intelligence and Dexterity so your Magic and Ranged Resistance go higher.
Futher on I would put some skillpoints in Magic Blast, realy great strong spell!
If I remember good you play most of the time like a warrior, isn't it?
Have you try to use a Two-handed Sword? It's also realy fun (my opinion)... for example the Arben's Sword (Rhode give you back before the fight at the Maxos Temple entree) or Seth's Sword (if you do that hidden-side-quest in Brocken Valley and met knight Seth on a bridge
) or another godo Two-handed sword ...
