Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Help/Tips/Tricks i must be an idiot

for the life of me i cant figure out how to use a key. i just got the one in the maxos temple to unlock the chest with that book in it to give to the librarian and i cant figure out how to use it.

well i guess the key i picked up was the wrong one

It should be automatic, instead of saying "Chest(Locked)" it should read "Chest(Key)" and when you try to open it you shouldn't have any problems, I know you dont have to manually select the key (on the 360 version atleast), if that chest still wont open id recommend making sure you found the right key, check a topic I made earlier to see if it helps, if you havent gotten the dragon blood yet that should help, cause you pick up both the key for downstairs and the dragon blood once you reveal the hidden room upstairs (book on bottom shelf to left, sticking out directly across from doors entrance)

yea the key i found was the wrong one thats why it wouldnt work
