I rejustered to this site only to tell youll how to very easily fix the battle tower loading screen issue.

GO TO DEVICE MANAGER
CLICK HUMAN INTERFACE DEVICES
RIGHT CLICK - MICROSOFT EHOME INFRARED TRANSCEIVER - CHOOSE UNINSTALL

Now it should load and that software will reinstall after each startup so no worries
