Hi...when I try to sell some items, I get a window asking me if I "really want to sell that item for that small amount of money?? What's that about....is there some reason I shouldn't sell these items..They are "rare" weapons, armor, bracelets and so forth.. I have about 7 of these items..and I don't know if I should sell them now or not...I'm only in the 1st town after the intro and am just about to enter the tower...

Should I be keeping these to sell at a specific location, later.. where I won't get the window asking me if I want to sell it for that small amount of money...

That is just a conformation so you don't accidentally sell magical or better quality items. If you have better equipment, and don't want to keep stuff to recover an enchantment formula, or something, then feel free to sell them.
After you sell an item it will be listed in the merchant's inventory in a special category if you want to review what you sold (which I try to remember to do if I'm selling a bunch of stuff), but once you exit that session it is no longer possible to get anything back.

Hey..thanks. I didn't know I could recover enchantments. I got some good pieces..I'll keep them. I guess that's something I can do when I get the Tower..yes?? I've seen nothing about it so far.

thanks again,

There is an enchanter to the far west of Lovis' tower and then north a bit. If you are careful you could probably get there at level 9, though you would want to stay north of the river and avoid the entrance north towards Maxos temple (level 11 black ring members can be taken alone or in pairs at level 9, but more than that required a fair bit of strategic withdrawal or potion use).

Any formulas you bring to the enchanter or alchemist in Broken Valley will be carried over once you get the battle tower.

Very helpful info about stuff being carried over to the Tower...Just found the Fortune Teller and will look for the Enchanter next.

Will I get the Tower after I deal with Maxos...and return the Soul?

Re.. "avoid entrance, Maxos temple"...I'm level 11, and was heading there next..to get the Soul, for Ghost in Tower...isn't Maxos next?? Should I do more side quests/level up more before Maxos??

Found Damians place...fought some Black Ring guys around a big flaming ball thingy. Too tough, could only take out one, had to flee for my life..But, when I tried to enter Damians place I get a game Window, telling me to leave..NOW...So I did and went to look for Maxos..

It's a basic rule of my RPG playing, that you should always complete side quests before main quests. Specially because there is a chance you won't be coming back.

The tower is available after Maxos, though there is a bit of stuff in between even if you don't do any sidequests (which I wouldn't recommend).

At the end of Maxos temple you can teleport to sentinel island (and back, until you reach a certain point, which you are warned about). You can mindread your first encounter there to gain a full level, so the higher level you are when you get there, the greater bonus experience points that will give you. Finishing Maxos temple almost brought me up to level 16, so I headed to the fjords to level first, rather than waste the mindread when I only needed 3k experience. I kept going, and managed to reach level 18 (for the last 4k experience, there were only level 21 imps available, which took a few tries to take out the first group).
Getting to level 18 certainly isn't required, but around level 15 or 16 you can level pretty quickly at the start of the fjords, and it is not too difficult (give your creature a mage head, or ranger if you don't have one).
