Yeah I know but none of my stuff is there. I put tons of crap (books) when i first got in my battle tower but nothing that I transferred there is in the chest, i tried different tabs but none are working other than Misc.

Better let Raze answer that... I know that if you have the chest OPEN you can just click on each item to go IN or OUT...but away from the chest you must CHOOSE to (send to battle tower) other than that Raze can probably help you or you may need to email Larian.

I assume you scrolled down through the misc tab looking for the stuff you sent there? If you hit up at the top of that list you should be able to loop around to the bottom and scroll up through any formulas to get to the books (should be faster than down through rocks and plants).
If not, save the game, then go through your inventory and send one weapon/armour/potion/etc to the battle tower (you can do this inside the battle tower), then check the chest again. Does everything show up?

So how do you open the other chest in the battle tower that says not pickable...the one out in the dining hall? Or the other servants chests for that matter? Can any of them be opened?
Is reality just a fantasy?

IIRC the chest contains a few (about 4) random potion/enchantment formulas and possibly other random loot (potion, herbs...).
