Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Technical problems please help!!

I am having a problem with the beginning of the game, i don't get the black loading screen or anything, but i can't get into the first town. My character runs into "invisible walls" and gets stuck but keeps running. I cant open any menus or anything, but the game doesn't freeze because my character and the rabbits all around are still moving their bodies, they just can't get anywhere. The only way to exit at that point is control, alt, delete. Can someone please tell me how to fix this?

This happened to someone else (stuck from the start), but they could get past that point if they lowered all the graphics settings to minimum and restarted the game. Once they got close enough to trigger the conversation with the guy at the gate, they could raise the graphics settings again.

And remember to patch the game. 1.03 is a very good patch, assuming you have PC version. I never had a console so I'm not sure if you can patch there.

There is a patch for the Xbox version. It took me 20 minutes to set up an account (most of which was spent trying to remember what the hotmail account was I set up awhile ago to download the Win 7 beta/RC was), and 30 seconds to get the update.
AFAIK the only things in the patches for the North American version were the over-writing save problem on the Xbox and a shutdown problem some people experienced on the PC (see below).
