There is a patch for the Xbox version. It took me 20 minutes to set up an account (most of which was spent trying to remember what the hotmail account was I set up awhile ago to download the Win 7 beta/RC was), and 30 seconds to get the update.
AFAIK the only things in the patches for the North American version were the over-writing save problem on the Xbox and a shutdown problem some people experienced on the PC (see below).
