Considering that increasing your level causes enemies to give less experience, is there any way to account for how much XP wisdom causes you to lose?

In theory, yes. In practice, it would be easier to go through the game a couple times with and without Wisdom than to do a rigorous analytical approach. The experience lost from some opponents by leveling faster is really a secondary effect, though.
