You can send your runners,which are located in your throne room, out to get materials if you have the battle tower. Also Sassan sells potions. If you dont I dont have the battle tower I kno there are potion sellers in the first village of the game, doctor needleman( in the upstairs of the boar's head) and another in front of the chapel.
