Why is "Ego Draconis" labelled "Divinity 2" when there is already an official sequel to "Divine Divinity", namely "Beyond Divinity"? Shouldn't ED be called Div3? Or is this some kind of fresh start because BD was received poorly? I must admit that back then, I enjoyed DD immensely but BD was a disappointment, playing it was more chore than fun...
LOL thanks, now it makes sense. Been a few years and memory is hazy (guess I was trying hard to forget it ). Pity it was so bland, the idea of the soul bonded good and bad guys was somewhat original.
BD was set after DD, but was more of an aside to the story than a direct continuation. D2:ED is set in Rivellon again, so is more of a direct sequel to DD.
No. It essentially tells the story of what happens to that little baby at the end of Divine Divinity. That little baby ultimately being the main bad guy in Divinity 2.
