hello all...

im playing Divinity for 1 month now and i just love this game (and i play lots of RPG games, mostly MMORPG)...

anyway, im stuck with this a whole lot of scroll where i can make potions, but when i go to the tree in the 1st town (dont remember the name, im not at home right now) i can only mnake low lvl potions. the option to alchemist the high lvl scrolls does not appear. im LVL 14 now (yes, lvl 14 after 1 month of playing... i dont have much time hehe)

and my next question is, i have stones that give +4 magic armor, +2 STR and so on... i imagin its for upgrading my weapon and armor. how or where do i use them???

thanks a lot for your help

For the Alchemist tree you must find other scrolls (Formula's) they are stronger. (Limited is lowest, Ultimate is highest)
And don't mistake with the Formula's for Enchanting ... possible you have much of these scrolls, but not all are for making potions wink

The stones you mentioned are Charms you can put on weapons and equipment-items.
Each charm-stone you put on something you CAN'T do it away: it is fixed.

On the other hand, Enchantmentslots you can make back empty and put another in.

Do you play on PC or Xbox?
On Xbox:
go to your Equipment and find an item that have a empty charm-slot. Than open the menu of that item (select it) and at the botom of the screen you see a yellow button that explains:
"Y = Charm" . Push Y on your gamepad and select a charm(stone) you want.

For the PC I don't know how it works.
Maybe reading your Manual can help?

It is also possible to purchase potion (and enchantment) formula, though most will likely be found.

If the formula is listed you need enough ingredients (the recipe is shown when viewing the list, with any missing items in red text). After you get the battle tower (about level 17-20) you will have servants to get alchemy and enchantment ingredients for you. Until then several merchants sell ingredients, though they only restock when you go up a level.

For charms, on the PC right click a piece of equipment with an empty charm slot. On the Xbox you can also charm from the inventory list (hit A for a menu).

The 'increase magical damage' formula is an enchantment. You need to find the enchanter in order to add or remove enchantments on equipment which have enchantment slots. Before getting the battle tower there is an enchanter to the far west of Lovis' tower, and then north a bit.
Talking to the tree, only potion formula will be listed, not enchantment formula.

You can add charms either from the equipment list, or the inventory. The equipment must have an empty charm slot (charm and equipment slots are separate, though higher level equipment tends to have both; earlier in the game charm slots will start showing up before enchantment slots).

Sorry Tasuooooo,
I think I was not clearly enough.
As Raze said (tahnks Raze!): enchantmentslots and charmslots aren't the same!
And if you read each Formaula you should see there is written something about the use of it (potion, enchantment for weapons, armor or jewellery).

You write
"and right clikc the sword i have only cance. dragging the stone over the sword not worknig either. " ... I suppose you play on PC: so forget what I said about how to charm on Xbox! wink

Success and much fun with the game! laugh

You will surely find it. Never give up! smile

If you find a man named "Dreavan" somewhere in Brocken Valley, you can begin to enchant something (if you have a Formula). wink
Before that, you haven't the possibility to enchant something.

But in the meantime I'm sure you can find equipment with an enchantment on it that can help you! smile
