and disregard of physics(by that i mean jumping from an impossible height and surviving)
So you're ok with huge rocks floating in the sky and forming flying fortresses, but not levitation strong enough to control the fall of a human? Being able to fall safely from heights is part of being a dragon slayer (people who attack flying creatures and can not take a fall don't last very long).
If you want to complain about physics optional parts of the game, how about destroying crates/barrels? Sometimes stuff on top drops to the ground, and sometimes it doesn't.
