In the Dragon Cliff Castle, in the fjords, you can get access to Orobas' Lair if you gather a couple items. Inside there is a chest which will ask you three memory-based questions, which you need to answer in order to get it open.
According to the
walkthrough the chest contains a dragon skill book and crystal dragon helmet, so I must have been thinking of a different chest above. It was still a tad anti-climactic, though, as by the time I got back to this I had more than enough dragon skill points to max the skills I used, and only used 2 pieces of equipment: the Bone Dragon Cuirass (+40% hit points) and Bone Dragon Leggings (+40% offense).
