Saw some posts re a tree but I don't know if it's the one I'm asking about.

High up on one of the cliffs there is a very large tree, devoid of leaves. It doesn't talk as mentioned in one post.

What's with the tree....anything...it sure is different than any other tree in the game...must be for something.

You need to explore the cave behind the waterfall and get a certain quest before you can speak to the 3 trees in the fjords that can talk.

Is that tree near the entrance to Keara's flying fortress, far above a region with a bunch of dragon skeletons? If so, it is one of the 3 (the other 2 have leaves IIRC).
