I just bought the game 5 hours ago. I'm running a weaker video card than I should be, but the game still runs and starts, just a little slowly. It's fine till I get to broken valley, but the moment I go to open a door the game crashes, and I get a message tellin me it quit working, and windows simply ends the program. everything else about the game works great so far though.
It doesn't matter what door it is either, which is a problem since I have to enter the barracks to talk to Rhode. This is different from just having the game overload the procesor and quit working, so I wondered if anyone knew what could be going wrong.
I'm playing the US version, if that matters
And am running an Invidia GeForce 6150 SE videocard and a processor that is well above the reccomended specs.
I'd really appreciate any suggestions on what is wrong. WARNING, not a very technical user. Thanks for any help.
