HOW TO UNLOCK THE BROKEN VALLEY MINE ENTRANCE TRAP DOOR ? pls help

You need to visit the quarry tower (a little way to the north west) to get the key to the entrance of the mine.

i can't seem to find the mine entrance .i went east of the cave in and killed some goblins by that totem tree but i did'nt see the trap door.also if you go up in the tower to get the key and run out since you can't kill the bad guys ,will the guildmaster get killed by the bad guys when they run down to fight?once when i went up there it said that the guildmaster quest failed ,i think because he was killed.

You can not get to the mine entrance until you have the battle tower; it is high above the goblin village, with no way to jump or climb there.
I got the key before the battle tower, and managed to defeat the first group of 4 black ring archers that come upstairs. I couldn't defeat the 3 black ring warriors on the lower floor, though, so had to exit out one of the side doors. I didn't notice the quest listed as failed until after I had the battle tower, but I think it said the guildmaster was dead due to Damian's poison.

so i thought after you get the battle tower then broken valley turns poisoness.i guess there must still be a way to go back and do some quests in broken valley after it is poisoness.or does it not go poisoness right after getting the battle tower.i got so far into the lower part of it and killed some guys then left before reaching laiken and have'nt gone back yet.

The quarry tower and top of the wall remains above the poison (as does the mine entrance, the top of Lovis' tower and a couple other places). There is also one quest on sentinel island that can not be completed until after you have the battle tower, though you may want to use the quest item yourself rather than complete the quest. All other open quests in either area will fail as soon as you take the tower.
