Pretty much this. I truly loved the script in this game & it really made it a great experience for me!

I loved the Hermit as well!

He said Alea Iacta est, which is Latin for 'De teerling is geworpen'
he also said De Gustibus et coloribus (and non disputandum should be added here as well actually) which means 'over smaken en kleuren valt niet te twisten' or the English 'there is no accounting for tastes'
And the other one, Fluctuat Nec Mergitur, meaning 'geschud door de golven, maar zij zal niet zinken'.

And of course, cogito ergo sum, 'I think so I'm alive', 'ik denk dus ik leef'.

The hermit thinks that these are, like, spells or something Amazing!

O yes, Hermit is very funny!!

What I find one of the most funny things is:
ZixZax: "I used ancient pyramid stones to open gateways to dimensions, but I had to give them to some human who had to fight the Black Ring and the Demon of Lies, blah blah blah !"
I asked: "You mean the Divine ?"
ZixZax: "That's the fellow, yes ! He may have been the Divine, but he didn't give me back my teleporter stones !
And now he's up there with the other gods and I'm stuck in this cockamamie dimension !"

So fun, especially if you played Divine Divinity

While unfortunate and possibly game breaking if you don't make multiple saves, this bug (if it occurs on your particular system) is easy to avoided by not over-writing saves.

I dont think there are any doors that seal after you enter them unless you're talking about the door for amducias which is a glitch in that case keep an extra save or extra 10 whichever, they require minimal effort to do, that much must seem obvious, i don't really care just please no need for the ranting on the forums there was something else.... oh yeah and the swearing if you hate the game so much return it end of story don't spam here because you're angry

There is at least one door that magically seals after you go through it. It's the door that you go through to get to the Stormfist Castle Treasure Room when you go to rescue Zandalor. Some demom dude is standing behind a desk and he is bragging about how the trap worked and that both Marked Ones are now trapped.

That was in DD, though. For D2:ED, the door to the Temple of Doom (in the bandit camp) is sealed after you enter, and you have to go through the temple to get out again. The rant was referring to a bug, though (rare, but potentially game ending if you don't make new saves periodically, and just overwrite the same save).

I realized after I had posted that the people maybe were talking about a different game. Oh well, I live and learn.

All the above made me laugh and the saucy chest amused me quite a bit.

I am just starting, but already I have gotten a few good laughs from the game. Best so far I think was Folo's poem about his pig...really cracked me up.
And the gossips in the village are funny too...and poor Lomax courting Elizabeth.

I loved the Goblin How to speak Yukie book =P

I also liked the "The Meaning of Life and the Universe and Everything." That was pretty funny.

Maxos joke on Amdusias made me laugh the most. I love this game for allowing my character to crack jokes and be sarcastic the whole way through

I thought that the Samuel Puppykiller book was gonna be a funny one .... But wow that was fucked up! The funniest parts for me were when you went to find a secret stash (someone's storage) and it had nothing there .... And the ending of the game!

Amdusius and "MAXOS!" had me rolling, especially the last time you meet him.
