I've played a lot of computer games but I can't even get started with this one. All I've managed to do is talk to Rhode and 2 other NPCs. I know I'm supposed to be trained in Farglow -- or whatever the name of the place is -- but how am I supposed to get there? I think I've tried every key on the keyboard, and yeah, I can jump. I'm tired of wandering around in circles trying to figure out what to do.

Can somebody help me, please? silly

You must walk to the village smile
From the zeppelin, take the road that leads to the other side. Walk along the path near the river, with the fence. Just follow the path and you will get there.

Welcome to this forum!

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll go back and try it again. I got so frustrated, I took the disc out of the computer ... I've walked and walked, but I just seem to go around in circles. Anyway, I'll go try it again. Thanks!

OK ... back now. I nearly drowned in the river LOL. I'm not too good with these controls where the whole world is moving around me. But I made it to the gate and am with the NPC now. I guess I'm on my way at last.

Thanks so much for the help.

I think you should give up
no seriously
If you have problems at start I can"t imagine what will happen later when whole world is open along with its quests and you don" have compass to show oyu where to go

Is this your first RPG game?

You might find a gamepad easier to use. I've never been a big fan of WASD or arrow key movement (you may not have a problem after you have time to get use to it), though the arrow keys can be ok depending on the game. I played the Xbox version of D2:ED, but when I eventually get a new computer, I will also be getting new gamepad to use with the PC version.

Me too! I like more a gamepad, especically in games you must jump to platforms, rocks etc to grab a book or make a platform-puzzle for example!

I like games with arrow-keys IF it is a arcade-game or something.

So I'm happy to play D II on Xbox smile !
