Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Leaving the battle tower/runner question

I captured the battle tower but now I can't get out of it. Every time I try to leave it says "you can not go there at this moment". I sent one of my runners out by mistake with no armor. He ran off before I could stop him, I'm wondering if he has to come back before I can leave?

*Sorry for noob question I found the answer shortly after posting this.
- There is an elevator behind the throne chair that you must take in order to leave.

However I am still trying to figure out if there is any way I can call back my runner so that I can give him armor.

Once you leave the battle tower, some time later the runner will come back on his own. I don't know how long that takes; I had enough gold to fully upgrade the runners right away, so all I had to do was wait for them to leave the battle tower, and then leave and return for them to be back.

Try talking to your trainer and enchanter about upgrades; if the absent runner doesn't show up, I guess you will need to wait until he returns to get him upgraded.

Your runner will come back on his own, and depending on if he got hurt, and im sure he will be if he had no armor or weapons, you will have to ask your alchemist to heal him. And don't feel bad about not knowing how to leave the battle tower. I had the same problem the first time! HA-HA
