Have you not gotten out of there?
There is a possible bug a few people have encountered in the PC version; sometimes when quick saving/loading indoors ladders can get removed or doorways sealed. If you notice this right away, then exiting the game, restarting and reloading the save should work normally, but if you don't notice and save again it gets written into the save file.
Missing ladders in dungeon...stuck inside!If you email Larian about this (support@larian.com) they should be able to edit your save to put your character outside.
In XP the saves are in the folder
C:\Documents and Settings\ %username% \Local Settings\Application Data\Divinity 2\Savegames
or in Vista / Win 7
C:\Users\ %username% \AppData\Local\Divinity 2\Savegames
You may need to set Windows Explorer to show hidden files and folders (
XP, Vista,
Win 7).
