Just curious, with the xpac on the horizon, will Larian attempt to "get the word out" to a greater degree than before?

Now, I have no idea how the game was marketed in Europe, but in the US it is still largely an unknown title. At the same time, it offers a higher level of polish and tons more content and gameplay time than other single-player cRPGs currently on the market. FOV and the accompanying engine patch for vanilla div2 (according to Lar_q) is set to address many issues that turned off mainstream reviewers - brutal early-on combat and engine "imperfections", to name a couple. With these adjustments, the game just might be the much-awaited "great break-through RPG" on the scale of the first Deus Ex or Morrowind.

Will there be another push to acquaint the world with Rivellon?

ALready sugested in another thread, releasing a pack with div2+FOV+all graphic patches, in an easy to install, seemless adventure would probably make some review sites review the pack and not FOV alone, putting up some higher scores for the original Div2 while suporting FOV also.

It was marketed better better in ths US than in some parts of Europe.
CDV released plenty of trialers and contest to get people interested and we can only hope they do the same with FOV.
To get the name around not only in the US but other territories.

Its the publishers job to market anyway not Larians.

CDV has started kind of anyway since there showing it at E3!

I already hearded about E3 earlier in my life, but never known "Where" it take place!! In US? In Europe? In Japan? ... And I can't find it on that site of the E3 where it take place smirk

Getting the major game sites (e.g. Kotaku, IGN, Gamespot) to preview the game would be vital. I believe the expansion will be presented at E3. However, it will be difficult for Flames of Vengence to stand out among the sea of 'exciting' new releases. Lar_q and Co will really have their work cut out for them.
