your friend can get the one on her hand re-inked if she wants...
there are a few good rules to go by when tattooing:
1- don't get a band tattoo. unless you're in it, and you're really good.
2- don't get someone's name tattooed on you, unless it's your child or a tribute to someone who has died.
3- never get a drunken tattoo. ever.
4- once you have your design sit on it for a few months at least. carry it around with you and look at it a lot. make sure you still like it after staring at it everyday for a while.
5- don't let anyone talk you into anything stupid. that includes the artist.
6- don't let your friends practice tattooing on you, unless you know for sure that they will be good tattoos.
I did all those things for more then 15 years, the design has been made about a year ago, I still love it, and I have absolutely no regrets getting the tattoo. To be honest, I wanted a tattoo since the day I discovered it on the arm of a friend of my dads, that man died, but I still remember him. I was about 6 years old. One thing I would like to add on the advices here: Never ever have a face tattooed, not from a picture or a face from a image, faces are very very hard to do and mostly the expression is lost in the tattoo.

What will the second tattoo be?
Altho I do have to agree with Spick on the nose piercing thing, somehow I don't like it. Not that I don't like piercings. Just piercing a nose is like ruining a perfectly good thing. I don't mind piercings anywhere else (mostly) at all.
Anyway good luck with the next tattoo, may it turn as beautyfull or even more if possible as the other one.
It's one of these days...

No guy really wants to be seen at a kids movie with a 30 year old girl wearing a TMNT t-shirt. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />
