morphOS appears to be an amiga-like os deseigned for the Power Pc chips. It seems they originally wanted Amiga emulation and it eventually "morphed" into something more.

I would really like to know why they would spend time to port to it such an obscure OS - maybe it's a small step from OS X. Linux or, heck, oven one of the BSD's would be a much larger target audience.
