I found and conquered the treasure map quest. However, I cannot get to the easter egg section. I have one teleporter (the other being in my house in Verditis), I have 4 ropes, 2002 gold, 5 bottles of Rimmer's ale and it still keeps sending me to the entrance of the cave.

Check your inventory again, and maybe drop excess loot in a chest in the cave temporarily (or teleport back to base). Most of the time this problem is caused by having extra gold, rope or alcohol in the inventory, hidden behind something else (usually something large, like a chest or the portable bed). If you had other rope in your inventory when you picked up the 4 you need, it may have stacked together with them.

im having a similar problem. when i re-read the guide, it says to:
"pick up the ropes surrounding the teleporter and no others"
i cant see any ropes anywhere near the teleporter, ive searched the intire dungeon, no ropes!
ive gathered 4 ropes from other places, but no joy.

Firstly, get rid of the other rope, then check that you are looking in the right place: screenshot. If the rope really is missing (did you try increasing the gamma in the graphics options, so you could see better?) I can add the inventory files for them to the Lost Items topic.

Am stuck with this particular quest...
I made thru the entire eastern egg hunt area with out a problem got the armor. But now am having dificulties exiting the area to continue with the game.
When I try to use the teleportation stone(pyramid) it just tells me that it doesnt seem to be working now.
Could it be because I stored the 2nd pyramid in a chest?
Is there a way to fix this? Dont have an old save game prior to entering this area.
Any help will be greatly appreciate it.

[color:"orange"]Could it be because I stored the 2nd pyramid in a chest?[/color] Yes, that will prevent you from using the teleporter pyramid you have with you. There are several ways to get out of the easter egg area. In your case the easiest methods would probably be the following (save under a new name first): Use the trick in the following topic to temporarily transfer yourself out of the area, head to where you stored your second teleporter stone, remove it from the chest and drop it on the ground somewhere, then save and restore the original data file. Try not to interact with anyone, complete quests, etc. while you are going to move the teleporter stone. FIX for the Missing Catacombs Portalor Teleporting Anywhere, via hex editorin general: a way out, if you're Stuck in the Easter Egg Area (broken links are fixed in a reply) Welcome to the forum. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

I believe you have to be wearing the silver armour, just having it in your inventory probably isn't enought.

I left the silver armour in my inventory, and didn't have any problems getting into the easter egg area.

I have solved the quest and killed all the demons who were downstairs but I didn't see anything like "Quest completed" or experience gained. I didn't get even any reputation bonus!!! (obviously I was expecting to gain some hundreds of them with somany larians I freed). Is it how it is supposed to work?

That is how it is suppose to work. The easter egg area is a hidden location outside of the game world, which would be very hard to find without using the forum or a walkthrough. Large bonuses here wouldn't really be appropriate.
After you kill the last bug, the Silver Breastplate should be upgraded to the Armour Of Larian. Save the game and then check your inventory.

I'm repeating Divine Divinity. It's the first time i try getting the Larian Armor. i reached the secret place, killed the bugs, then i spoke to Swen and he told me to check my inventory. When i checked it, it was still the same Silver Breastplate! i tried it like 20 times and the Larian Armor wouldn't appear. Any solutions?
Thanks

That is strange... Did the quest log get updated saying you completed that quest? If you talk to Swen again can you go through the dialog options again, and see if that triggers the update? When you re-tried that part, were you reloading a save before killing the bugs, or before speaking to Swen? Maybe try equipping the Silver Breastplate, rather than leave it in your inventory (or put it in your inventory if you had it equipped). Welcome to the forum.

Thanks, it's nice to be in the forum. I finished Divine Divinity a long time ago and i felt like playing it again. There were a few unfinished quests that ignored the first time and i'm enjoying repeating it I'm reloading after i killed the bugs. do u suggest reloading before killing the bugs? i tried accessing the chat logs, no use! and the quest is finished upon killing the Falrog. i don't think there's any update after talking to Swen. i also tried wearing the breastplate and talking to Swen, same result...

You should reload a save before killing the bugs. I thought you had to talk to Swen to get the silver armour upgraded, but checking Kiya's site (link above, in the first reply in this topic), it seems it should happen as soon as the last bug dies. Whatever the glitch/problem was that prevented your upgrade, you'll need to revert to an earlier save to try again, and hope that it doesn't reoccur.

I replayed it from the Falrog. It worked this time, it seems that it's necessary to be wearing the Breastplate when fighting the bugs so that it works. And you're right, it should become the Larian Armor after killing the bugs! so I'm glad it worked, it's better than my Mithril Plate...
1 more question: Could it be that Cure quest for the 3 plague victims has not right solution except for pickpocketing 1 of the victims after giving them the potion. i did that and it worked, but why wouldn't they make u choose 2 out of 3 ppl?

I think because there are only two cure potions in Dr Elrath's cellar ... ? This quest is a little bit nasty ... pickpocked a cure potion from a sick person for solving the quest ! But Dr Elrath IS a nasty evil man !!

No, you don't need to be wearing the Silver Armor, I just did that recently and I was wearing my Dragonheart breastplate the entire time. I still got the silver armour. 1 more question: Could it be that Cure quest for the 3 plague victims has not right solution except for pickpocketing 1 of the victims after giving them the potion. i did that and it worked, but why wouldn't they make u choose 2 out of 3 ppl? The quest is meant to force you to choose one person you can't save. That's the entire point. Unfortunately, it's sabotaged by the surprising lack of characterization for the victims. A lot of relatively minor people have interesting backstories, paragraphs long, and yet when you're faced with a choice of letting someone die to save the others, you don't get much at all on what the people are like. I also don't like that you can solve that quest by pickpocketing a cure, because that would not work in reality. And if Larian wanted you to cure all three, they'd have put 3 cures in Elrath's cellar, not two. That would be one case where it would have been better to delete the cure items after they're used, instead of moving them into inventory.

Hmmm... it can work in reality, BUT .. then, the sick person you pickpocked his/her cure can't be healed at all ! So Stabbey is right: the cure potion must go away in the NPC's inventory after he/she drink it and heal him/herselves ! If I remeber : I give a cure potion and immediately the person is healed and your hero get XP-points for it. So play it "nice", your hero get less XP.
