I have never paid for the same game twice in all my years of gaming.
I did so - a few times, but only for a a few HEAVILY reduced games. It was mainly so because I found out that the last "low-budged version" of a game sometimes has the copy protection / disc check removed. Example : CAESAR III by Impressions.
