So does anyone know how to key map skills to the mouse wheel without it bringing up the keymapping menu? I noticed it works fine for the first skill but each subsequent one brings up the menu after the skill is used.

I have the Xbox version, so I don't know if that is possible. One person remapped the 'interact' button to the mouse scroll wheel (don't know if that was the only skill), but this caused a problem activating a series of 4 pressure plates on Lovis' tower.

Yeah it seems as though it is not. If you use the original keys 1-8 it just uses the skill/item you have mapped to it but when I use the mouse wheel it brins up the menu. At least it uses the skill but it is annoying.

It is a well known fact that most of a mages damage comes from the mages mangled corpse falling upon their unsuspecting foe.

I mapped switching weapons to my mouse wheel. I was able to map both scrolling up and also scrolling down. All I did was go to the options screen and select the controls tab (I think that is what it is called), and then do the key napping. It does not bring up the menu for me. I do have a gaming mouse with multiple mappable buttons; perhaps that is a factor.
