Have you checked your combat log?

"I think Intelligence only increases the rate of your mana regeneration, and the magical damage of magical melee weapons."
And Intelligence also creates additional magical damage for bows.
The question is not, Can they reason? nor, Can they talk? but, Can they suffer?
