I have the Gamestop pre-order armour set, but by the time I got around to getting my Xbox online I already had better equipment (it may come in handy for my next character). I didn't get any of the other download sets; they may have saved me a bit of reloading trying to get good equipment in the early to mid game, but I didn't really need any extra help (also, I'm cheap).
New Download Equipment sets for Xbox 360 - At least on the Xbox, the Wild Dwellers sets 1 and 2 are switched opposite from how they are labeled in the PC screenshots.
With the sets available later in the game (after you get the battle tower) I checked them out after collecting all of the pieces, but wasn't tempted away from the random equipment I had. Some people do recommend the archmage set for mages, though, and several people that posted in the topic
