I am a moderator at a forum which was plagued by spam-bots due to an overly old software version of the forum itself.
This is a good training, to be throwing out spam-bots almost ever day.
One learns very fast of ho to decide between spammers and serious forum members/newbies.
The learning curve is imho quite good, then.
