Agree with Raze on previous one... u can't even get over closed chest with the mouse pointer -> it locks the inventory of that chest (i.e. u must save before talking with someone or before going with cursor over chest or cupboard or tiny little second before u kill someone...).Belive me... My weapons... As for "Does level effect that?" question, I think its not. Let me explain...
When I found out that in elves camp guy have good bows( i love them in the beggining of any RPG) I went straight to him and after lot of reloading I got a bow from link above and best armor in hole game till the end(550 AC)...And I was very low level...
