I may indeed try the game again at some later date but for now I've re-installed the "original" Divine Divinity for a confidence boosting re-play !!
IT is one of those 10 or so RPGs I
did manage to play right through to the end.
My computer games date back to 1989 - although mostly Adventure - so you can see just how thinly spread my RPG triumphs are ??
My very first completed "action" type games were from Sierra's Quest for Glory series and I think my latest "modern" completed RPG was The Witcher.
I did the whole of (and really liked) Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights and Morrowind etc and got
very close to completing Drakensang and Risen.
But as long as I've enjoyed playing the rest, I don't mind all that much not being able to win the very last fight in a game.
I can happily live with my limitations
