All right, here's a temporary solution that seems to work - we have only tried this on one system and we're posting it here to help people out, but please be aware that we cannot take any responsibility for anything that might go wrong because of this - so use at your own risk !
This is only for people who installed the german version of Divinity II: Ego Draconis through gamesload. It's possible that similar steps might work for other digital distribution versions, but we haven't tested this yet.
Please be aware that if you perform the following steps, you will not be able to run your original version of Divinity II: Ego Draconis anymore. We advise strongly that you first take a back-up of the entire Divinity II: Ego Draconis folder in case something goes wrong.
Download the following file
http://www.larian.com/support/regkey_digitalED.zip and run the registry file that's within the zip file.
Now install Flames Of Vengeance (to the folder where gamesload placed your Divinity II: Ego Draconis)
Delete in the "Installed Directory\Bin\" all files EXCEPT these 4
files:
o NxCharacter.dll
o PhysXCore.dll
o Game.ico
o Divinity2.exe
Flames Of Vengeance and Ego Draconis should now run.
