OK, I've already got her dagger and all that. Now she hangs out in the park and I can't talk to her again. Is this normal?

Then you've run into a bug, Holy, don't know why.
She should take the dagger - vanish - you get access to Leptin - he shows you the hatch - you meet her again. But if she hasn't got the dagger, I fear this will not happen.

Another gamer had your problem, but he couldn't save Corinna the 1st time - now I'm clueless. She simply stayed in the park...

Hmmm....I had already done the brothel quest before getting Penumbra's dagger. Mebbe that's the problem. I've got another game going, I'll remember to get the dagger first and see what happens.

That is not a problem.
I've still a save somewhere on which I haven't done the brothel part yet and Penumbra is doing the same.
Oh and Kyia still going strong on the game? You were her too 9 months (or so) ago that I visited this site for the last.

I know if you give Corinna the wrong 'fake' branch that she dies during the summoning and Penumbra just tosses her knife in the park and won't talk to you. When I got the right branch, everything was okay.
