Hallo liebe Gemeinde, also ich hab folgendes Problem: Man musste sich im Kr�hennest in die vergessene Gruft begeben, sich dort mit Fallen und einem Troll auseinandersetzen, um dann endlich zur Plattform des Ingenieurs zu kommen. Nun ich habe die Hebel umgelegt alle untoten Kreaturen gekickt und mir ist folgendes aufgefallen: Unter den Kreaturen befindet sich eine, die sich "Engineer Ranger" schimpft. Wenn ich die ausknocke ist das Spiel gelaufen. Der Charakter steht noch, faselt aber, dass es ihm nicht gut gehe und dann Schwupps verschwinden die Anzeigen und es kommt das Game over bitte Laden Schildchen. Also lass ich ihn in Ruhe und hei�e den Ingenieur in meinem Strafraum willkommen, aber was passiert? Das Spiel h�ngt. Es friert dort ein, wo die Truhe auf der Plattform erscheint und es geht nich weiter. Ich denke, dass es sich hier auch um `nen Bug handelt und hoffe auf eure Hilfe.

The creature is actually named "Engineer Ranger" ingame and not "Sch�tze des Ingenieurs"?

If so could you provide us with a savegame right before this happens?

Did you use a language (registry) hack? If so, this is causing the bug. The engineer ranger label should be translated in your version. You are seeing the UUID of that particular enemy, and not the German (or even English) name.

We cannot reproduce this here without breaking into the registry or files. If you are experiencing this as an end-user, we would like to receive a savegame (send it to info at larian dot com and mention my name) and we can only recommend to backup your savegames, uninstall all components of Divinity II and re-install.

I haven`t used any hacks or whatever. Just this one is the only creature in the field whichs name is displayed in English (and it also does not attack me), but as a matter of fact I lose when I kill this undead warrior. And I also cannot win, when I kill the Engineer, as I have said. The game freezes in attempt to show me his treasure chest.

Edit: Where shall I send the savegame and what shall I write?

EDIT 2: Sorry, now I�ve found out, but I have another question: Will a patch for the Add-On be produced? I�ve also forgotten to mention, that I couldn`t find "Thadd�us" in "Das tanzende Seepferdchen". Without him I�m also stuck.

Another dumb question: Where are my savegames? I am searching for them, but I cannot find anything...

I have the same problem. An enemy called "Engineer Ranger" and killing it results in sudden death.
Killing the Engineer freezes the game too.

So did you work around this issue someway?

I have Divinity 2 from Metaboli and Flames of Vengeance as retail.
Maybe that's the problem?

I really like the game, but this is a game stopper

Deutsch: Ich habe das selbe Problem nur an einer anderen Stelle des Spiels: Wenn ich zum 3. Mal nach einem Hinweis von Bellegar teleportiert werde. Egal welchen Hinweis ich nehme es kommt immer ein unsichtbarer "Abyss Guardian Grunt". Hab auch schon neu installiert ohne Erfolg. Ich habe bereits ein E-Mail an den Support geschrieben, aber vielleicht wei� ja schon jemand wie man dieses Problem l�st??

English: I have the same problem, but to another time of the game: When I get teleported from Bellegar the third time after a hint. It doesn't matter which hint I take there is always an invisible "Abyss Guardian Grunt" (Abrundw�chter Soldat). I reinstalled the game without success. I already wrote an E-Mail to the support, but maybe someone knows how to fix this problem??
