Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Technical problems Maxos Temple Entrance

I am playing the game on a Xbox 360. Well, everything seems to be fine and working up until I enter the temple. I enter just fine using the LB button but once inside, nothing goes right. I cannot talk to Zandalar, click on the tome or even click to get out of the entrance area. It gives me the option to do so but clicking the LB button does nothing. So in essence, I am stuck inside. I have restarted the game from saving just outside the Temple but it does no good.

Any suggestions please?

Are you playing off the DVD, or installed to the hard drive?
One person had a problem with crashing in certain situations which installing to the hard drive fixed.

A cutscene conversation should start automatically, and entering completes the Paper Trail quest which should bring up the quest reward window, IIRC after the conversation with Zandalor ends.

Did the cutscene conversation with the dragon slayers outside the temple proceed ok, leading into a fight?

I decided to stop the game, actually install it on my hard drive and see how it went from there. I then logged back into the game to see what happened. When I entered the temple the wizard immediately started dialogue with me, which didn't happen before. So I am thinking it was a disc error of some sort. Going to see how it goes from here. Glad it was an easy fix. If it was just a glitch loading that area, just restarting the game may have been enough (unless you already tried that). I tried the game briefly off the DVD, then installed it to the hard drive to reduce the noise (and help with performance).
