Hi everyone! I'm brand new to both this forum and the game, I just gave it a try a few minutes ago. I got to the point in Farglow where I am to speak to three different people to choose my class. Before I do that, I would like to ask for advice here at this forum. I tried to have a look on the board, and also in the wiki, but couldn't find any specific tips for this. I'm sorry if this is something easily found here.
So I'm wondering what class to choose. I'm quite experienced with RPGs, mostly TES-series, FF and LotRO, and the warrior class is usually the easiest one in a game. But how hard is mage or ranger? I am tempted to become a mage in this one, but how hard will it be for a Divinity-newbie to play a mage? Should I go for a warrior first? I understand from the woman I spoke to in-game that I can develop all three skills later, but how much later in the game is that?
