I think I will give mage a try, then. And perhaps make him a Battlemage, with some warrior skills.
I suggest mage
It is little harder in the beggining with him becaose of mana thing but every class is hard I think
I cant say for warrior or acher I have finished game with mage on hard 4 times and with battlemage for only one
My guide for battlemage is not quite as popular as Ultimate mage
