Valley-
I had to start an entirely new game because by the time I realized I'd left a main ingredient to the Hall of Echoes poor broken valley was full of poisen. Aren't you supposed to get the sigil before that happens?
I've killed the black ring knights at the quarry and inside the building, spoken to the commander who gave me a key. "Somewhat east of the quarry" Great. I looked everywhere, finally went back to just outside the little town to try the 'secret passage' again. I still don't get it. There is almost nothing on the map to the east of the quarry.
Twice I've started threads when I get completely fed up. This game is extremely frustrating. The last two times just as I posted the answer arrived. I hope something gives.
I finished the temple of doom or whatever it's called. The only thing I haven't done in broken valley besides the sigil is given Lord Lovis his stone back.
Can't find any door.
