Ok, quick question for those of us that purchased all the DLC armor sets on D2:ED. Will all the D2:ED DLC armor sets still work with D2:DKS? It is bad enough having to buy the game all over again, but also having to re-purchase DLC would just seem, well...
Hopefully since saves will transfer that means DLC will as well, but one can never be sure so I figured I would ask.
I didn't see it in the FAQ/forum and while I may have missed it in reading the forum a repeat of such information can't hurt to much (if I did miss it, sorry).

There hasn't been any official mention of D2:ED DLC in DKS. D2:ED saves will work with FoV, but technically there has been no confirmation that the same holds true with DKS. Welcome to the forum.

Armor sets?
Are they only available i certain countries or something, since I can't find them on xbox.com with my danish account?

@Raze, Well, since the only way to get FoV for the 360 is by purchasing DKS and the FAQ @ http://www.flamesofvengeance.com/faq.php#jumptocontent says Can I continue playing with my character from Divinity II - Ego Draconis?
Yes. You can load any savegame you have from Divinity II - Ego Draconis and continue playing. When you reach the end of Divinity II - Ego Draconis, the story will automatically continue and your character will keep all of its stats, items and skills. It seemed to me at least that the saves would work. That would be even worse if they did not. As I said though, DLC did not seem to get mentioned at all. Thanks for the welcome. @spif2001 I know they had the DLC on the US Marketplace http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/games/media/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d802434407d6/?of=3 but not certain about other regions.

There may not be a problem at all with D2:ED saves in DKS, it is just that this hasn't been officially commented on. With the flying fortresses being changed, I could see possible issues with some areas needing to be reset in D2:ED saves, or added loot being missed if you have already opened associated chests or killed certain opponents, etc.
With the DLC I would think even if there was some kind of compatibility problem, it should be possible to re-issue codes to download comparable sets for DKS (though I'm not sure how DLC is generally handled in Xbox games in similar situations).
There were DLC equipment sets available in the UK for awhile (same sets as in the US), but then removed. I don't know about any other regions.

They were never available in the UK.

Someone in the UK asked about the sets awhile ago saying they were not available 'anymore' on Xbox Live, assuming they were time-limited or region specific, but it was late when I posted that, and apparently I remembered the anymore part of the sentence better than the rest of it.

Oh well, I was kind of hoping for some more official info as to how the DLC would/wouldn't work with the new release.
Well if everything can't be used directly, will we be able to earn a new set of 1000GS for going through the D2:ED part again in D2:DKS?

I would assume the achievements would be separate.

Yeah, I saw one of the other replies related to D2:ED and game saves. It does indeed seem that for the 360 at least compatibility between the 2 products will be subpar. Ah well, such is life.
