I am a little confused by the coffer in you battle tower bedroom. It seems like some items can be in the coffer and still be used while others cannot. I think you can leave formulas in there and enchantments and you enchanter and aclchemist still use them but not charms or necromancer limbs and I have not tried storing alchemical ingrediants in there yet and wonder if you have to have them for the alchemist to make potions. Can anyone verify for me how the coffer works? QAlso what is the difference between the gems and minerals. There are two runners for the two kinds of items but aren't they both for enchanting?

Alchemy, enchantment and necromancer materials can be used from the coffer. AFAIK your necromancer should have access to any body parts in the coffer, but I kept a list handy of the best parts I had, and sold anything that wasn't an upgrade. If there are any parts in your coffer after going into the creature creation screen, check that they are not duplicates of ones you already have.

There are a dozen alchemy ingredients you can send a runner for, 8 minerals and 16 gems. If there was a single enchantment runner, it would take longer to get the required ingredients.
Besides, what would Dick and Harry be without Tom?

lol Thanks much Raze. We agree though that you need to have the charm on you when you charm a weapon and it cannot be in the coffer right?

Yes, you need to have charms in your inventory to be able to use them.

What about enchantment or potion recipes? Do I need to carry them with me when I talk to the alchemist or smith or can I just leave them in the coffer and they get automaticaly added to my list of potions and enchantments?

I would guess your alchemist and enchanter can access formula in the coffer, but I never sent any to the battle tower. There isn't really a need to store formula; either you talk to the relevant person to get them added to their list, or you already have those formula and can sell them. Also, after getting the battle tower there was lots of other stuff I could store to make room in my inventory.

Thanks Raze. I found that you can just add formulas to the coffer and it automatically adds to the npc list. For example, I put the formula for greater resistance in the coffer and I was able to brew it using the alchemist. This is a very nice feature!
