I would assume the achievements would be separate.
It's not looking good for save compatibility between D2:ED and DKS...
Yeah, I saw one of the other replies related to D2:ED and game saves. It does indeed seem that for the 360 at least compatibility between the 2 products will be subpar. Ah well, such is life.
