I don't recall if Larian specifically stated Xbox D2:ED saves would not be compatible with DKS, but discussing
FoV vs DKS on the PC, save game compatibility was the limiter on what changes in DKS would be included with the patch and/or FoV for the D2:ED section of the game. If they couldn't keep compatibility on the PC, it is highly unlikely they could on Xbox.
