The problem I now encounter is the following: Once I enter Verdistis the Save-Button (in the options menu) is grayed out. After a few minutes an error message pops up stating that some event did not finish properly and I should reload the last savegame.

I had the same kind of message and also my Save button was grayed out WHEN I go in the underground for rescue the lady (Quest : Kidnapped by a zombie ) ... But I play further and after awhile the Save button comes back to work ... I make for being sure and extra savegame, but so far I'm now playing I haven't this problem anymore, also going in Verdistis and no problem.
(I did NOT reload, just make a seperate savegame to be sure not to loose a whole day playing IF the savegame is corrupted!)
