Hello,
While I immensely enjoyed Divine Divinity and played it like a mad man for a long time, I opted to not get Divinity II until it came on sale someplace. Thankfully, it is on this weekends deals at Impulse for only $15.00 so I picked it up.
It's currently downloading as I type so I've been reading the forums to get a grasp for what I need to look out for, what I should be doing etc. A couple quesitons have popped up in my mind that maybe some of the other members here could answer...
1. [color:#FFFF99]I'm wondering if there have been any mods that buff the characters a bit to make up for the easiest level being overly difficult? Is Divinity II moddable at all and if so, is there a central repository of mods for the game, and if so, are there any recommendations on what mods would be good to get to make the game more enjoyable, balanced etc?
2. I found a thread that I now can't find again that said that there was a user created mod or patch that updates the textures in the game and is about 1GB in size. Where would I find this mod, and does it really help and worthwhile to download another 1GB of data?
3.I've read some people lament over how much more difficult it is to play a ranged character in Divinity II. Is this really the case? What would be the best character class (even though I've read it's a classless system) be for a newplayer to Divinity II?
4. Specifically, are there any areas of the game that I need to avoid to prevent any game stopping bugs?
5. Lastly, when Divinity II FOV comes out, will there be a patch to Divinity II ED that balances and or makes the game better?
6. Oh hell, one more. Does anybody know if the digital versions of the game (Impulse specifically) is already patched to the latest version, how do I tell in the game what version I have?
7. Is there anyway to make the reticule larger so that it's easier to aim? I'd really like to play a ranged character but what I'm finding is that trying to get that reticule to aim over the enemy is a nightmare, it's very fidgity for me.
Thanks,[/color]
