Hello,

When playing the game, does not matter if settings are on high, medium or lowest, if shadows are turned on or off, the mouse is very sloppy to work with.

What I mean by sloppy is that it's very inprecise, when moving it to select a dialog choice it often passes by the choice that I want and stops a second or two later after I stop moving the mouse. It's like moving the mouse through thick oil instead of moving it through the air. I hope that makes sense.

My frames per second are good, anywhere from 30 to 60, so it's not like it's a problem with performance in the game since I'm getting good fps. The mouse is just very sloppy to choose options in the dialog screens (and other places).

Is there a fix for this, maybe turning on a windows mouse hardware cursor or something like that to make the mouse act more like it does in windows with it being precise when used?

Thanks,

At least one person found that having a specific program running in the background (used to allow control of multiple networked computers with the same keyboard and mouse) caused the mouse to be extremely sensitive controlling the camera, etc.

Mouse cursor problems have been associated with performance problems in the game (Game is stuttering, also the cursor in the menu). I'm pretty sure I've seen suggestions for just the mouse issue somewhere, but I'm not finding anything in a search.

Did you try checking the 'don't use desktop resolution' option for the UI?

No, I don't recall seeing any option that says don't use desktop resolution.

For me the game is silky smooth, there is no stuttering that I can detect at all, but of course I've not yet been involved in any big battles which I would expect performance to drop, but it's not like the mouse is jumping around, it's smooth, it's just that it's like going through jelly instead of the air.

UPDATE: It seems that FPS_Limiter program is helping to some degree, it's not as it would be in windows, however it's probably precise enough now to play the game.

Thanks for the link, it helped.
