Your initial choice of class doesn't make much difference after you've gone up a few levels, as you can develop your stats and skills however you wish. There are no class restrictions on skills, though if you play a strength based warrior and neglect intelligence and spirit you may not have enough mana for some of the more powerful mage skills (Thousand Strikes uses a fair bit of mana, as well). There are plenty of magic based weapons around (which get a bonus from intelligence), so as a mage you should not have any problems using any of the melee skills, assuming your melee resistance and hit points are high enough.

False positives from anti-virus programs are not that uncommon, and there are online services that will run uploaded files through multiple programs to double check (though 1GB would be a tad impractical even if there wasn't a file size limit).
