Sorry to hear you are stuck, after i killed ba'al in the circular chamber room thing, there is a teleporter at the other side of the room, use that teleporter, do not go through the door that you came form.
This teleporter should take you back to broken vally, at the place where you initially used the key and went in the cave/mine entrance, to kill ba'al. (you should appear outside this entrance). So you should be back in broken vally now.
From there i could easily change in to a dragon, and so i headed back to orabas fjords.
What you encountered might have been a bug, i have come across a few in the game so far, i tend to save a lot, so i load the previous game, and do that bit again, and usually its fine. Just making sure,,, did you, take everything from the loot bag that ba'al left behind? (the Sigil)?
As you need this sigil to enter the Hall of Echoes.
One last thing... what level are you on, because im on level 33, and it was waaay to easy to kill ba'al... just wondering???
