is DKS download only? or can you buy a physical copy? i'm in north america where it's becoming increasingly difficult to find a good selection of pc games in stores, let alone find releases from europe. and i cannot find anyone online who is selling it that states if it's a physical copy or just a download.

Retail Versions in USA
Somewhere in one of those Status Update threads Lar_Q (Sven Vincke) has stated that publishing in the USA for Divinity 2: Dragon Knight Saga - Retail Box is still in the process of being figured out. Who knows when we'll see it here at Retail - you'll have to wait until it gets announced.

Digital Versions
DKS - Steam Version should be unlocking in 15 hours.

DKS - LarianVault Version should be out by now.

I'm a box collector in the US as well and I switched to Amazon a long time ago. They carry every PC game that comes out and they offer release-day shipping for only $1 most of the time, so you get it on day one.

Some games are becoming digital-only in the US though, which is a shame for us collectors. For those games I tend to use gogamer.com, which often sells imports in the US, and zavvi.com, which is a UK shop that ships quickly and cheaply to the US. Game.co.uk also ships to the US, though it takes longer and costs more, but they have a better selection than zavvi.com.

As for DKS no US boxed release has been announced, but Canada is getting one. If you can find a shop selling the Canada version it should be cheap and quick to get it mailed to you in the US. That is what I am presently waiting on, gogamer.com or some other store selling the Canadian release with shipping to the US.

Amazon.ca lists the PC version as 'Usually ships in 1 to 3 weeks'. Hopefully other places will start listing / stocking it soon.
