(Spoilers follow for Flames of Vengeances)First of all, I'd just like to say that even though Ego Draconis has quite a few problems , it's probably my favorite modern rpg. What I'm gonna say is less about the actual game (liked the quests and such, writing and characters still as nice as ever, combat was pretty much the same) and more about the story and the area you're in. To me it felt like the story went nowhere. (ending spoiler)
I mean sure you free the Divine, but what about Commander Rhode? She's stuck in stone but it's not even mentioned if that means she's dead or alive. I was hoping to at least be able to confront her when I heard she was headed to Berhlihn but there was nothing. I can understand the Damian loose end not being tied up but that particularly annoyed me. Speaking of which, Damian doesn't talk once through the whole game, he's such a cool villain and the fact that he doesn't get any lines is pretty lame in my opinion. Killing Ygerna really wasn't anything for me, sure she betrays you at the end of Ego Draconis but she doesn't show up until you fight her at the end.
Another thing that annoyed me was Aleroth. Ego Draconis had lots of large interesting areas to explore and many cool secret places to find such as the morality cave, but in the expansion you're just stuck in Aleroth the whole time. Now Aleroth is definitely pretty well fleshed out, and I enjoyed my time there, but I just feel like there could've been something more.
Overall, I enjoyed the game and I will definitely buy the next game, I'm just left feeling a bit disappointed and I hope this feedback can help you guys, thank you!
